The &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;family of concentric circles&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; centered at &amp;lt;math&amp;gt;p&amp;lt;/math&amp;gt; is the family of all the circles centered at &amp;lt;math&amp;gt;p&amp;lt;/math&amp;gt;, along with the degenerate case of the radius zero circle, which is the point circle &amp;lt;math&amp;gt;p&amp;lt;/math&amp;gt;.&lt;br /&gt;

This family yields a partition of the Euclidean plane into subsets, one of which is a point and the rest are nontrivial circles.&lt;br /&gt;
